BRT

Pittsburgh: in downtown Pittsburgh, no busway; instead, "BRT" becomes reserved bus lane - cheaper, but this creates conflicts with right turning movements and problems of large numbers of passengers queuing on narrow sidewalks at peak times. While reserved bus lanes clearly provide Better Bus improvement over running in traffic lane, is this really "rapid transit"?
